The Role of the Admin Team

The Admin Team is a vital and multi-skilled department supporting the practice. Their work is essential to the efficient running of the practice, ensuring that patient information is processed accurately and in a timely manner.

The Admin Team is experienced, efficient, and adaptable, working across multiple departments, sites, and specialist areas. Their attention to detail and commitment to high standards ensure that clinicians are supported, and that patient care is always prioritised.

Core Responsibilities

• Medical Correspondence & Scanning: Processing all medical correspondence received to the practice.
• Patient Registrations: Processing registration paperwork for new patients to the practice
• Private Work and SARs: Processing requests for private work and SAR (subject access requests)
• Medical Record Summarising: Ensuring patient records are clear and organised for our clinical team’s ease.
• Record Management: Processing patient records for patients who have left the practice.
• Emails: Monitoring the practice’s central email account.
• Pathology: Distributing the pathology results received to the appropriate clinician.
